Homie Highlight: Amanda Evenstad

Title: Buy Team Lead

Amanda leads a team of 14 buyer agents. In 2020, her team sold $60 million of real estate across the state of Utah. Amanda’s leadership and real estate know-how help her team get the best deals for their clients.

Amanda’s Background

Amanda is from Cottonwood Heights, Utah. She played lacrosse in high school, and now she enjoys snowboarding and cross country skiing. She also likes to cook and silversmith in her spare time. Amanda has been a real estate agent for more than five years. In that time, she has closed over 150 real estate deals, most of them at Homie.

From a young age, Amanda has always been interested in sales. She has held multiple jobs since she was 15; from barista to bartender to ski lift operator. When she started as a real estate agent, she helped flippers sell their remodeled homes. Her first clients taught her a great deal about real estate, and it was satisfying to help them save money. Her favorite things about the job? The flexibility and the ability to stay true to herself.

Why Homie?

As ironic as it may seem, Amanda first learned about Homie when her former brokerage called a meeting to bash it. Hearing all of the negativity made her wonder if Homie was really as bad as they were saying. So she followed her curiosity, liked what she saw, and applied for an open position. The rest is Homie history.

Now, Amanda has been at Homie for three years. For her, there’s always something exciting happening, and she learns something new every day. She enjoys problem solving, strategizing, and training her fellow Homie agents. If you ask Amanda why you should work for Homie, she’ll tell you that Homie takes care of her. When she feels taken care of, she can better take care of her clients and create win-win scenarios.
