How Homie Helps
Homie is the official homerun sponsor of the Colorado Rockies this year, and for every Homie Homerun hit, Homie will donate $100 to Habitat for Humanity of Metro Denver. Each donation will directly go toward helping Habitat’s programs that serve families in the Denver metro area through new home construction, existing home repairs, and the sponsorship of Habitat homes.
Homie Gets to Work
Not only is Homie donating to Habitat for Humanity Metro Denver, but we got our hands dirty too! A group of Homies (including Homie CEO Mike Peregrina and Rockies Mascot – Dinger!) had the opportunity to do a build day and work on the Aria Homes new construction site. This site includes 28 new homes in Aria Denver, a multigenerational, mixed-income community that supports simple, healthy living. Read more here about the Aria Denver neighborhood.

About Habitat for Humanity Metro Denver
Habitat for Humanity was founded over 40 years ago around an idea centered on those in need of adequate shelter, working side-by-side with volunteers, to build simple, decent homes. Habitat has evolved to provide a variety of housing solutions to address the needs of low-income families, including affordable new home development, mortgage lending and home repair.
Homes are built affordably and sold to qualifying families with an affordable and accessible mortgage. Habitat ensures families never pay more than 30% of their gross monthly income for all housing expenses including property taxes, homeowner’s insurance, and HOA dues (if applicable). Mortgage payments are then recycled back into the program to build more homes. Over the past 40 years, Habitat for Humanity Metro Denver has built, renovated and repaired more than 1,200 decent, affordable homes throughout the Denver community.
