As a buying agent, Shane helps people in St. George find their dream home. He has the real estate expertise, experience, and excellence to guide his clients through the homebuying process.
Shane’s Background
If you ask Shane, Southern Utah red dirt courses through his veins. Shane grew up in Kanab, Utah. After high school, Shane moved to St. George to attend Dixie State University. He liked it so much, he never left.
Shane has been working in real estate for more than six years. He got his start working at a real estate law office for a couple of years. Real estate fascinated Shane, so he dove in headfirst. He became a full-time licensed agent, and he has been helping people buy homes ever since. To date he has made more than 70 deals, and he plans to close many more. Shane enjoys being a small part of a major change in people’s lives.
Real estate is what gets Shane out of bed in the morning. He’s excited to meet new people every day, and he loves hunting for the perfect home for his clients. Shane’s favorite part of the job? Telling his clients, “They accepted your offer!”
Why Homie?
Shane realized there must be a better way to do real estate when he sold an expensive home to a client. When the client, a successful businessman, saw how much Shane was going to make in commissions, he was shocked. Shane felt embarrassed because he hadn’t done much work to make that money. He knew there had to be a way to make great money, disrupt the antiquated typical 6% commission model, and give clients a world-class buying experience. Homie was the answer.
A client introduced Shane to Homie when they used Homie Loans™ to purchase their home. He started looking into Homie, and he learned how the company is changing the real estate industry. Shane got hooked on the culture of disruption, and he got to stay in the industry that reeled him in. He hasn’t looked back since.
Shane loves being a real estate agent at Homie because of the sense of purpose it gives him. He knows he’s offering something that will help make his clients’ lives better.
