Homie was founded on the idea that everyone should be able to find and afford their dream home. Our driving mission is to make sure that everyone has a home, and now that includes our furry friends. That’s why we are excited to announce the launch of the LovePup + Homie partnership.
What is LovePup?
The LovePup Foundation is a 501c(3) nonprofit organization that rescues dogs in need while also being a resource for the greater animal welfare community.
LovePup started as a full-service dog rescue center for stray, abandoned, and owner-surrendered dogs. Based on high demand, LovePup has outgrown their current shelter and they are now in the process of building a new shelter that will be able to temporarily house 15-20 dogs. Every rescued dog receives complete medical care, (including vaccines, spay/neuter, and microchip) love, and structure before being placed in an adoptive forever home.
The foundation also provides resources to the community for shelter prevention. Since its inception around 2013, #LovePup has rescued and adopted out over 1,000 dogs, assisted in preventing shelter intake by keeping dozens of dogs together with their families through their A Dog is Forever program, and provided funding for microchips for over 10,000 dogs adopted from the Maricopa County Animal Care & Control shelters through their It’s Hip to Chip program. LovePup operates out of Phoenix, Arizona but also assists dogs and communities nationwide through its programs and events.
Why partner?
This year, Homie launched a platform called Homie Helps. The goal of Homie Helps is to assist our local communities in need as it relates to ensuring that everyone (and all lovable pets) have a place to call home.

To launch this partnership, we’ve teamed up with LovePup to help assist with finding homeless pets their furever home. Homie is making an upfront donation to the non-profit of $5,000 and has committed to donating an additional $500 to LovePup for every home bought or sold when Johnjay and Rich are mentioned.
